It all started when in 1937 two brothers Dick and Mac McDonald opened a hot dog stand from the position at the airport in Monrovia, California. Three years later he moved his business to San Bernardino, where he opened the first McDonald's restaurant. The restaurant was becoming from day to day increasingly popular and profitable. In the beginning there were served mostly grilled dishes. In 1948, the brothers closed their restaurant for several months. During this break introduced "Quick Service System" - with the result that the food served was about half the price of a standard and served almost immediately. This led to a gigantic success and growing popularity. Five years later, opened a franchise network. And so the company began to grow ... Today
McDonalds restaurants serve millions of people every day. It is the largest chain of fast food restaurants in the world.
